About Us

Does it make any difference?

That is the question we apply to every part of every campaign. If the action we take doesn’t create real, positive change to our clients’ business we re-think and re-do.

Everything is about results.

Work hard, work hard. Mason Williams is not AB FAB – anything like it. We have a well earned reputation for getting stuck in at every level.

We pay well, train well and give generous holidays. We are a group of hard-working professionals who don’t stop until the job is done.

No Glass Ceiling

We can get satisfaction. It’s tough to get on the Mason Williams team – our interviews have been described as like the marines. Once on board though, the combination of continuous improvement, continuous personal assessment and our fantastic client list plus a “no glass ceiling” approach to promotion means that, for the ambitious, this is a great place to develop a career.

Top Brands

The greatest client list. We have always worked with fantastic brands. We know what we are good at – developing consumer lifestyle business – and we stick to it. There isn’t another list of people we don’t talk about. There’s no business to business, no corporate, financial or local government. Just great brands from great companies.

Experience

Brands

We've been building brands for over 25 years. Our slogan "we are our brands" reflects the passion we inject into everything we do.

We love brands, it's what defines our clients and in turn defines us.

Clients

We have several clients who have stayed with us for more than ten years and lots that have enjoyed our company for more than five. Some marketeers take us with them when they move jobs – for one we have worked in five different businesses. We love to meet new people but we don’t forget our old friends. We don’t get stale and we don’t run out of ideas – and we stay the course if the going gets tough.

Techniques

We’ve been at the forefront of pr techniques since we started. We moved into “new media” in 1996 when we started our first Natural Search (SEO) business and watched with interest as rivals have “discovered” social media. To us it’s all about using every route to our chosen target. For some brands that means glossy monthlies, for others blogs, for the vast majority it is a combination of everything from local radio to relevant websites.

Europe

With our base in Mallorca we are ideally placed to service clients on the European Mainland. We currently work in Mallorca, Murcia, Sottogrande, Sicily, Paris, Lanzarotte wth new clients being added on a regular basis.

Working at Mason Williams

Moving

Moving to a new agency is a big step in anyone’s career. At Mason Williams we want to make sure that everyone who arrives understands our character and can make an informed decision about how they will fit in.

Responsibility – With Support

This is an agency where you will be given individual responsibility for projects from a very early stage. At the same time you will be supported by more experienced members of the team. On joining you will be under the wing of two mentors – one to help you fit into the social fabric of the company and one to be there if you need professional advice.

Obsession

At Mason Williams we are obsessed about results. We promise our clients outstanding results and we have to deliver them. This means that working hours get stretched and it is not uncommon to have to fit in weekend working at either one of the many events we organise or simply just to keep up with the demands of work.

The Good News

If this pace of life is not for you then Mason Williams is not for you either. Assuming you are still interested what is the good news?

First of all there are our clients. Few if any privately owned companies have a roster to match ours. We work on fantastic brands with decent budgets which allows us freedom to do outstanding work.

No Dead Man’s Shoes

Then there is the “no glass ceiling” approach to promotion. We want to improve our staff so, with continuous training and assessment, regular meetings with either Rita or John we are always looking for your next step. We don’t have a fixed organisation chart. We look to hire great people at every level and guide their careers. There are no “dead man’s shoes” at Mason Williams.

A Great Career Move

It’s hard work and the standards are high meaning life is not always easy. But, as a look at the list of successful MW old boys and girls reveals spending time at Mason Williams has proved to be a good career move for hundreds of ambitious PR professionals over 25 years.
