La Brea Bakery, widely credited as the pioneer and leader of the artisan bread movement in America, sits within the group, covering both retail and foodservice solutions. Mason Williams launched La Brea Bakery into the UK market in 2005 and have worked with the business as a whole since 2003.
A few highlights…
Mason Williams brought Nancy Silverton, the pastry chef who turned the US baking world upside down when she opened the La Brea Bakery in LA in 1989, to the UK to launch La Brea Bakery to the retail and foodservice markets and introduce the brand and unique product to the British consumer through a guest appearance on Great Food Live. The team also led the 25th anniversary celebrations for Delice de France in the UK media in 2010.
