A Quick Look at Henkel Consumer Adhesives
At a Glance…
Henkel has been committed to making people’s lives easier, better and more beautiful for more than 130 years. A Fortune Global 500 and Germany’s most admired company according to a recent Fortune survey, Henkel offers strong brands and technologies in three areas of competence: Home Care, Personal Care and Adhesive Technologies. Mason Williams works with Henkel’s Personal Care and Adhesive Technologies divisions. Our work for Consumer Adhesives covers some of the biggest DIY and stationery brands in the UK, including Sellotape, Pritt Stick, Unibond, Nitromors, No More Nails, Loctite and Solvite.
A few highlights…
We brought Pritt Stick together with Henry “The Fonz” Winkler for a child literacy and creative expression campaign supported by Sarah Brown and Ed Balls and launched at 10 Downing St. The campaign focused on raising awareness of learning differences, in particular on improving attitudes towards children with SEN and building their self-esteem. The campaign highlighted Pritt’s role in the education sector and the work the brand does to enable children to learn and express themselves through creativity.
What the press say…
“This is a great campaign, focused on raising awareness of the different ways children learn and giving all children the self esteem to achieve their potential” Ed Balls
“Ad of the week…If the aim is to reclaim brand leadership of the category, then this is a neat, witty and effective way of doing so.” Daily Telegraph on Sellotape’s Christmas TV Ad
“And the adhesives and sealants category is due to see not just a steady commitment, but a rather major boost this year in terms of above-the-line advertising, with Henkel investing £12.5m in TV campaigns.” DIY Week
