Consumer Lifestyle Brands specialist Mason Williams has announced the formation of a new division within the agency, which will see a formalisation of its overseas brands coming under a new section – Brands2UK.
“We have brought international brands to life in the UK for nearly 20 years and this has become a specialisation in the agency,“ said Chairman and CEO John Williams.
“We helped develop Europe’s biggest leisure complex Polaris World. That meant working with Jack Nicklaus as he developed six world class golf courses, launching six towns with a school, medical centres and 25,000 apartments as well as a wide variety of bars and restaurants.
“Also in Spain we worked with NH Hoteles, Hesperia Resorts and the finest residential development in Europe at Sotogrande.”
Mason Williams launched Donnafugata Golf resort in Sicily with Gary Player. In complete contrast the agency also introduced France’s The Dukan Diet to the UK. The Dukan Diet became a firm favourite with the UK aristocracy at the time of the last Royal Wedding.
“We’ve publicised cameras from Germany, breakfast foods from Finland and boating holidays in the middle of Portugal on Europe’s largest man made lake,” said Williams. “We are currently working with world-leading luxury crystal producers, Moser Glass from the Czech Republic, health foods Verso from Finland and Fruit Heroes from Denmark.
“It therefore makes sense to set up a separate and specialist division with colleagues who have experience of bringing brands in to the UK and showcasing products to the British public.”
The new division will be headed up by John Williams with a senior team including International Director and lifestyle specialist, Nicola Gregson, who has recently returned to the UK after 10 years based in the Middle-East, prior to which she was 13 years working in PR & communications in London.
